Series sponsor Shane Helms has confirmed that he will contest this year Golden Holmes North Island Endurance Series in the 3 hour driving his Audi TT VLN.
Shane raced a E30 M3 for a long time in endurance racing before purchasing an Audi TT VLN 2.5L Turbo which he and normal co-driver Rob Bolland pull off a massive underdog result by taking 2nd place in last years series and wining Class 1 for the 3Hour in style by taking all three victories.
We are going to be in for a treat this season as Shane in his Audi TT VLN will have stiff competition from, DFM Audi A5 GT V8 driven by Jono Lester and Matt Dovey will be battling it out to clinch the Class 1 trophy.
