The winners of the 3 hours Class C of the 2020 South Island Endurance Series, crowned at Highlands late last year, have confirmed their entry in the 2-hour endurance race this season driving a RX8 class car.
The team has been racing over the summer around the South Island circuits in 2 different classes and it will be their first year competing in the North Island Endurance Series. “It will be the first time driving in the North Island circuit. We are interested in coming up to do this in another car for some seat time and learn the north island tracks” Cameron said.
The team has been racing together for the past 3 years stepping up into the 3 hour endurance last year. They have a selection of cars, still have the 3 hour car which is going through lots of upgrades at the moment, but they will bring a another RX8 class b car to race in the new 2 hour clubman’s race.
“We have tested the car and is performing really well, I think it can be pretty competitive”, Cameron said.
