DFM Racing will be back on the North Island Endurance Grid in 2020. The team used to race a modified Ford Falcon BF in the in the 3 hour endurance race which the car now owned by Darryl Clarke who competes it in the 1 hour endurance race.
For the past two seasons however, DFM Racing have been side lined while building their new weapon which is an Audi A5 V8 and has specifically designed for endurance racing with the help of Kiwi Autosport and Luke Dinsdale.
DFM Racing have partnered with professional driver Jono Lester and co-driver Matt Dovey to try and knock over the Class 1 title in 2020 for the 3 hour endurance race.
Even though David Dovey won’t be behind the wheel of his stunning new car to our series, we will be seeing him competing in a slightly different car which you’ll have to look out for in the next competitor announcement.
